‘My goal is to make stakeholders happy’

Oh dear, you not only have multiple jobs, but this isn't one of them

Making happy everybody is not going to bring Product success to you, my friend. Actually, most of the time you will finish peanut buttering your Product, doing a little of everything, and badly, as you try to satisfy everyone.

But hey, it’s not all on you. A lot of companies with Product feature teams based part of the team performance on stakeholders’ satisfaction. What are you going to do if it is how success is measured internally?

It is not too late to realise and accept this mistake. It is the first step to initiate a strategy to get real Product success.

So… what are you going to change on Monday?

Feeling better?
